Open Works
In the Summer of 2015 Open Works, a Maker Space funded by The Robert W. Deutsch Foundation and BARCO had a soft launch. I was asked to take the design assets and to create the print collateral, t-shirts, caps, and invitations for the soft opening where Elijah Cummings gave the keynote speech. I also began and managed the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I created daily content from April 2015 - until September 2015, when MakeScape took place. MakeScape was a makers market where over 20 makers and vendors participated and where future tenants demonstrated their skills and sold their goods. I also helped to coordinate and organize MakeScape’s vendors and general workflow.
